August is a quiet time of year so if you’re in the mood to ramp it up a bit, head to BOOM Cycle on 5 August at 7pm for a spin class with a difference.
Set up by spin enthusiast and BOOM Cycle fan, Katie Andrews (@itskatiefam), all proceeds raised will go towards the very worthwhile charity Action Against Hunger. This global charity provides support and nutritional care for children who are suffering in poverty-stricken countries. Katie has already signed up to run the London Marathon for Action Against Hunger in 2017 and wants this event to help kick-start her quest to reach the £2,000 pledge.
As someone who ran their first marathon for Great Ormond Street Hospital, I know how much of a challenge it can be to raise funds alongside training and think this is a great idea. After all, you’ll be able to have a fab time at one of my favourite spin classes in London while doing something for a good cause. Those BOOM cycle instructors certainly know how to throw a good party ride. I’m sure this Friday night bonanza will not disappoint.
You’ll also have the chance to enter a raffle to win some great prizes donated by BOOM Cycle donated by BOOM Cycle – Skinny Champagne, Lucy Bee, Be:Fit and Tally Rye – and receive a goody bag containing treats such as Punch superseeds, BodyMe protein bars, Teapigs tea bags and more.
What’s more, the class is 45 minutes will fly by and will re-energise you so you’re ready to hit the bars on a summer evening. There’s also post-workout fuel courtesy of Gymbites and Oppo ice cream. What more could you want, seriously!

The class starts at 7pm at BOOM Cycle Hoborn, 16 Procter St, London WC1V 6NX) on Friday 5th August at 7pm.
